The Deckhouse

The Belleweather Deckhouse is a sturdy all-weather oak framed building, fitted with 42mm thick exterior planking, laid horizontally, and further strengthened by attractive interior wall planking, set vertically, to provide a light and airy room some 10’ x 10’ with panelled ceiling rising to 9’ approx.

Pictured right are the single hardwood ‘folly’ door and ‘folly’ double-glazed windows 28mm thick containing elegant 3-dimensional glazing bar castings sealed away for life inside toughened glass panes.

The standard version has 4 ‘folly’ windows, set in pairs and the fifth ‘folly’ window incorporated in the single hardwood door.

An alternative, to maximise the sunlight and get views all round, is to have 6 ‘folly’ windows in the walls and one set in the door.

Doorway options are double ‘folly’ doors giving an entrance of 5’6” or for the best Summerhouse option, double 'Bower' doors opening up a full 8ft of the front wall and letting in a flood of sunshine, linking the Deckhouse to the garden and views beyond.
