About Belleweather Resin Composites

Resin composites, which are a Belleweather speciality, allow a wide range of materials such as slate powder, marble chips or even sawdust to be combined with resin and shaped into a finished product such as the Belleweather Dolphins, Ball & Spike ornaments or the Post Tops shown here in the photo.

One reason that I, as a designer, like working with resin composites is the fine detailing such as the scales on the dolphin, which you can incorporate.

A second reason is that the product can be pigmented as required to match the other components and a third reason is the excellent resistance to weathering. The Post Top design shown here allows the vulnerable endgrain of the post to go right up inside the post top unlike conventional wooden ornaments which sit on top. I’ve used mine for nearly 10 years now without ever having one crack.
